What we do

Practical support, delivered with dignity

Dar-e-Fatima is a dedicated girls’ orphanage providing safe residential care and comprehensive support for orphaned girls in Baltistan. The programme brings accommodation, formal education, healthcare, protection and emotional wellbeing together in a nurturing environment built around dignity and belonging.

Every resident is cared for as an individual with her own aspirations and potential. SWF maintains appropriate family and community connections where safe and supportive, while ensuring that day-to-day life provides security, structured learning and personal development.

Sponsorship and community support help meet the essential costs that make childhood stable: nutritious meals, school tuition and supplies, healthcare, warm clothing, dedicated female caregivers and a secure home environment.

How to access support

Admissions and referrals are evaluated through a safeguarded assessment process focused on the child’s best interests, safety and educational continuity. Guardians and community representatives may contact SWF’s Skardu office for confidential guidance.

Direct coordination: To refer a case, check current eligibility, or request assistance, contact our Skardu office at +92 343 1513259 or info@swfpak.org.
