What we do
Practical support, delivered with dignity
Harsh winters and irregular seasonal incomes can place a household under sudden pressure. Our food and clothing programme provides practical, timely assistance so families can protect nutrition, warmth and dignity during difficult periods.
Support includes essential food ration packages, season-appropriate warm clothing and relief supplies during local emergencies. Pack contents and distribution plans are shaped by verified household need and family size. Assistance is organised calmly and respectfully without public display.
The programme prioritizes households facing acute hardship, including older residents, people with disabilities, widows and women-led households, and families affected by illness or temporary income loss across Baltistan.
How to access support
Community referrals and household assessments conducted by our Skardu team identify families facing acute food insecurity, winter hardship or sudden income loss. Distributions are coordinated directly with recipients to ensure privacy and dignity.
