Patient Care & Emergency Medical Support

Diagnostics, treatment subsidies and emergency relief for families facing illness.

Healthcare support and medical outreach in Baltistan, Pakistan
Supporting patients and families with diagnostic and medical assistance in Baltistan.

What we do

Practical support, delivered with dignity

In Baltistan, the cost of illness is rarely limited to a medical bill. Families may travel for hours from remote valleys, lose income while accompanying a patient and pay for tests that are not available locally. Our patient-care programme helps eligible households reach diagnosis and treatment before delay becomes another risk.

Support can include diagnostic assistance, medicine or treatment subsidies, and urgent financial relief. We work from documented medical advice and assess each request with care, privacy and fairness. Assistance is designed to close a critical gap; it complements clinical care and supports families facing acute financial strain.

We serve people living with acute or chronic illness who cannot safely meet the full cost of care. Every case is handled confidentially. Where needs extend beyond treatment, our team connects families with ambulance transport or the Patient Attendants’ Shelter Home.

How to access support

Requests may be referred by a hospital clinician, community representative or the patient’s family directly to our Skardu office. SWF reviews documented medical need and household circumstances, then coordinates approved support with the relevant healthcare provider.

Direct coordination: To refer a case, check current eligibility, or request assistance, contact our Skardu office at +92 343 1513259 or info@swfpak.org.
